ONE of the UK’s major broadband providers has revealed brand new kit that promises to boost people’s Wi-Fi and avoid those annoying connectivity issues.
EE has revamped its line-up with new routers and plans.
The BT-owned brand has unveiled a slimmed down Smart Hub 7 Plus router that relies on the very latest Wi-Fi standard for zippy speeds and reliability.
It’s available for plans up to 1Gbps.
There’s also an Extender 7 Plus mesh to reach those difficult not-spots around the home where signal struggles.
EE says it is the first major UK broadband provider to offer all Full Fibre plans built with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity as standard.

The new gizmos will be sold to new customers or those starting new contracts, largely replacing the old Smart Hub Plus.
A special feature under the hood known as Wi-Fi Intelligence uses real-time network insight to give customers the best possible Wi-Fi coverage and connection quality throughout their home.
It’s not EE’s first Wi-Fi 7 enabled router.
The company already has a Smart Hub Pro but that’s for mega fast 1.6Gbps packages and is a much chunkier router.
Prices for the new router and plans start from £28.99 on 74Mbps, with a 24 month contract.
