OnePlus took the industry by storm with the launch of the OnePlus Open foldable smartphone. The device gave tough competition to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold phones. And now the leaks related to the successor of the smartphone have been making the headlines. In a recent development, the first look of the device has been revealed by Yogesh Brar and Chunvn. In a report published by Smartprix, the renders of the device have been shared giving us an idea of how it will look like.
OnePlus Open 2 leaked design and specifications
The OnePlus Open 2 will have a new design offering a larger and thinner chassis than the predecessors. It will retain the camera module from the predecessor along with Hasselblad branding. We could also get to see a triple-camera setup at the back.
In the folded state, the phone will allegedly measure around 10mm. If the rumours are true then we will get to see the slimmest foldable smartphones available in the global as well as Indian market. Apart from that, the smartphone will come with IPX8 certification for dust and water resistance.
The handset will get an 8-inch 2K LTPO display and a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship processor paired with 16GB RAM along with 1TB internal storage.
The OnePlus Open 2 could sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra wide angle shooter, and a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3X optical zoom. For the selfies and video calls, we may get to see a dual front camera setup comprising 32MP and 20MP snappers. The device will be backed by a 5,900mAh battery along with 80W fast charging support.
