MILLIONS of PlayStation owners are about to lose access to six games.

It’s part of Sony’s monthly cull that will see the titles vanish from loads of consoles around the world in weeks.

PlayStation fans will need to buy the games outright to play them again

That’s because these six titles are being removed from PlayStation Plus.

PS Plus is the popular membership scheme for PlayStation consoles that lets you enjoy online multiplayer.

But it also gets you access to a rolling library of free titles to enjoy.

Now Sony has confirmed that at least six titles are leaving this roster in mid-June, including Monster Hunter Rise.

The list of games vanishing now classified as “Last Chance to Play” titles includes:

  • After Us
  • Avicii Invector
  • Inscryption
  • Kayak VR: Mirage
  • Monster Hunter Rise
  • Rogue Legacy 2

These six games will disappear on June 17, 2025.

These are PS Plus library games – and not free downloads.

That means you don’t get to keep them once they’re off PS Plus, even if you’ve downloaded them already.

Once they’re out of the PS Plus library, you’ll be locked out from playing them.

The only way to get around it would be to actually buy the games at full retail cost.

DON’T MISS IT!

Fans on Reddit were quick to react to the news of the removals.

One wrote: “Highly recommend people dig into Inscryption if they haven’t yet. Very addictive and great fun. Don’t read up about it before playing.”

Another said: “Inscryption is 10/10. Not really into roguelikes or card games, but damn this game is sick. Vibes, loop, puzzles, endgame?! Whole game changes and evolves wtf don’t miss out.”

One noted: “Finally a month where I’ll play every game I wanted to play before the games leave – time to finally give Inscryption a go!

And another added: “Guess I’m buying Rogue Legacy 2 next month, then.”

TIME TO PLAY

Of course, a fresh selection of titles will be added to PS Plus in June for gamers to enjoy.

Several titles were added in May 2025 too, including one free download that gamers were warned to avoid.
