PLAYSTATION has surprised fans this month by not only announcing the games coming to PS Plus Essentials, but three classic titles for Premium subscribers.
Even among the Essentials additions, there’s a Game of the Year winner from the 2021 The Game Awards.
It Takes Two is an award-winning, two-player co-op game, where you have to communicate with a friend to make it through to the other side.
You play a couple who are shrunk down to the size of dolls and have to traverse the house in order to find a way out.
Aliens: Dark Descent is the next game added to PlayStation Plus Essentials, but unlike other media in the franchise it’s not horror.
This is a squad-based, single-person shooter where you tactically take control of alien-infested areas.
The final game coming this month is Temtem, a creature collector where you breed and battle monsters.
While the first two games are available on PS4 and PS5, Temtem is only available on PlayStation’s most recent console.
Alongside the three games coming to PS Plus Essentials on December 3, there are three games coming to PS Plus Premium subscribers on December 10.
All three are from the PS2 era and are beloved 3D character platformers.
There are two games from the Sly Cooper series, the second entry Band of Thieves, and the third entry Honor Among Thieves.
In these games, career criminal Sly Cooper teams up with his pals Murphy and Bentley for stealthy platforming action.
The final game is Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, which is the first game in the Jak & Daxter series.
Here are the games coming to PS Plus Essentials and Premium in December:
PS Plus Essentials – December 3
- It Takes Two
- Aliens: Dark Descent
- Temtem *PS5 only
PS Plus Premium – December 10
- Sly 2: Band of Thieves
- Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
