POWERBALL players in a US state have been urged to check their tickets as a $100,000 prize remains up for grabs.
Maryland lotto bosses revealed the slip was sold at a Walmart supermarket in Fruitland – located around 120 miles from Baltimore.

The player prevailed after matching four of the game’s red balls, as well as the Powerball, in the draw on March 19.
This would have normally landed them a $50,000 prize, but they spent an extra dollar on the Power Play.
The value of their prize doubled to $100,000 as a result.
Officials urged gamblers who bought a ticket from the supercenter to check their numbers to see if they came up trumps, per the ABC affiliate WMDT-TV.
When the player decides to come forward, they will have to collect their prize in person at the lottery’s customer resource center in Baltimore.
That’s because the amount is over $25,000.
Winners who scoop $600 or less can collect their prizes from retailers that sell lotto tickets.
Those who win between $5,000 and $25,000 can collect prizes from a choice of six casinos in the state.
In Maryland, winners have 182 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
Other states with six-month claim windows are Arizona, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Texas, and Wyoming.
On March 19, two players—one from Colorado and the other from Texas—are in line to take home a $2 million prize each.
No player managed to win the jackpot, which stood at $418 million at the time.
The prize pot had an estimated cash value of $195 million.
No players won the Powerball jackpot on March 22 or March 24.
But, two ticket holders—one in Florida and the other in New Jersey—are set to walk away with a $1 million prize each.

But, in a matter of weeks, players will have an improved chance of winning thanks to a sweeping set of changes.
Bigger jackpots and automatic multipliers are some of the features that will come into force from April 5.
Breakeven prizes will disappear from the Mega Millions altogether, meaning wins will be worth more than the cost of the ticket.
But the cost of a ticket will jump from $2 to $5.
