Sony has confirmed a new State of Play Japan broadcast, focused entirely on games developed in Japan and across Asia. The special presentation will go live on November 11, offering updates on upcoming PlayStation 5 titles. According to the company’s announcement on the PlayStation Blog, the event will run for over 40 minutes and include a mix of major franchise updates, indie game showcases, and interviews. It begins at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 11 PM CEST on November 11, which translates to 7 AM JST / 3:30 AM IST on November 12 for Asian audiences. What to Expect from State of Play Japan

As this edition focuses on Japan-made titles, PlayStation fans can expect updates on several highly anticipated games revealed earlier this year. One of the main highlights could be Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, the 4v4 tag-team fighting game developed by Arc System Works, which was first shown at Sony’s June showcase.

Another possible appearance is Nioh 3, developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. The title was also announced in June and is expected to receive a development update during this presentation.

Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture may also return with a new look at Romeo is a Dead Man, the upcoming action game set to release in 2026 on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Meanwhile, Capcom could share progress on two major titles – Pragmata and Resident Evil: Requiem – both currently slated for 2026.

Fans are also hoping for any news related to Bloodborne, whether a sequel or a PS5/PC remaster. However, Sony has not hinted at any such announcement yet.

The upcoming State of Play Japan promises to highlight what regional developers are preparing for the next year of PlayStation releases.
