Qt 6.9 was just released as the newest version of this open-source, cross-platform graphics toolkit.

The Qt 6.9 toolkit delivers on various performance improvements, better emoji rendering, greater visualizations support within Qt Graphs, SVG CSS animations support, transparency handling improvements, network integration improvements, and a variety of other subtle improvements throughout the wide-reaching toolkit.

On the Wayland side for Linux users there is xdg-toplevel-icon-v1 protocol support in Qt 6.9. Qt 6.9 on Wayland will also no longer destroy the underlying Wayland surface of a window when it is hidden.
