THE reality TV star Jackie Siegel has announced that her sister has died from an accidental drug overdose – only days after losing her husband.

In a social media post, she revealed her sister, Jessica Mallery, had died from an accidental drug overdose at the age of 43.
Siegel said that her world had been shattered by the “unexpected loss.”
“Her death is another stark reminder of the drug epidemic and fentanyl crisis plaguing our country – and the urgent need to address substance abuse in order to save lives,” Siegel said.
Siegel’s sister died just years after her daughter, Victoria, also died from a drug overdose.
David was 89 at the time of his death and Siegel revealed she spent 25 years with him.
“To say we are devastated is an understatement,” she said.
David was the founder of Westgate Resorts – which was founded in 1982.
The timeshare resort now has 22 locations across the US.
The billionaire spent his final months surrounded by his family, including Jackie, their children, and extended relatives.
“David’s energy and caring extended well beyond his business ventures,” his family said.
“He was an energetic and caring father and husband.”
In the post announcing his death, Siegel shared a montage of pictures from over the years.
One snap was from their wedding day. David was sporting a white tie tuxedo, while Siegel wore a white wedding dress and veil.
The pair were jointly holding the knife as they cut their wedding cake.
The Siegel family was thrust into the limelight as a result of the 2012 documentary The Queen of Versailles.
But, they were left reeling by the death of Victoria, 18.
Siegel and her family launched Victoria’s Voice – an initiative that is working to combat the opioid epidemic.
They wanted to launch a national platform for drug awareness and prevention.
