Raspberry Pi is gearing up to launch another new product: a Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module.
Raspberry Pi is teasing their forthcoming Smart Display Module product and in fact showing it off at the ISE 2026 conference next week in Spain. The Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module is an adapter board for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 for low-power display experiences for professional signage applications.
The Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module aims to pair the power and efficiency of the Raspberry Pi CM5 into compatible display screens as well as adding HDMI output for driving a second independent video stream. There is also an M.2 expansion slot if wanting to add optional AI acceleration.
The Raspberry Pi Blog confirms the upcoming product will conform to the Intel SDM specifications and aims to be an ideal solution for flight information systems, retail and corporate signage, and industrial displays.
Details are still light on this Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module and importantly the pricing/availability, but the few now-public details can be found over on the Raspberry Pi Blog.
