Red Hat and Microsoft have expanded their collaboration with the goal of optimizing and scaling AI deployments in the cloud. Thanks to this step, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL AI) will be available through Azure Marketplace as a platform to run foundational models in Microsoft Azure environments, with the BYOS (bring your own subscription) option.
RHEL AI on Microsoft Azure delivers the consistency and scalability organizations need to develop, test, and deploy generative AI models in hybrid cloud environments. It is a platform for foundational models focused on innovating in the area of generative AI. It incorporates Granite models, with open source and business license.
In addition, the platform facilitates the alignment of models with data and specific use cases of each company, through InstructLab tools. On the other hand, Red Hat Enterprise Linux also offers a direct path to Red Hat OpenShift AI to tune and serve these models at scale, using the same tools and concepts. Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat’s latest AI-optimized solution available on Azure, will be available in its marketplace starting this December.
Joe Fernandes, Vice President and General Manager of Red Hat’s AI Business Divisionhighlighted the extension of this agreement that «Red Hat is committed to helping organizations maintain agility in today’s AI-dominated landscape while anticipating future needs through an adaptable, enterprise-grade AI platform. Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI on Microsoft Azure enables organizations to scale their generative AI deployments with greater confidence and flexibility, so they can quickly take advantage of the opportunities AI offers today and pave the way for the next wave of innovation.«.
As to Jake Zborowski, Responsable de la plataforma Microsoft Azurehighlights his satisfaction for «Welcome Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, giving our partners great visibility to cloud customers around the world. Azure Marketplace provides high-quality experiences from trusted global partners, with proven solutions to seamlessly integrate with Azure«.
