Report: Apple to launch ‘at least five products’ leading into March 4 event – 9to5Mac

Last week, Apple announced a special Apple experience in various cities around the globe – taking place on March 4th. While this is unlikely to be a traditional Apple event, theres still ‘at least’ five new products set to launch at this event, per Bloomberg.

In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that the upcoming Apple launch event will actually be a ‘three-day flurry of announcements,’ with things kicking off on Monday, March 2nd, ending with the in-person ‘experience’ on Wednesday, March 4th. So, expect three days of press releases (and perhaps launch videos) without a typical keynote.

Upcoming launches

Despite there being no normal keynote, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that things should still be quite exciting – with ‘at least’ five products set to debut, including hardware, software, and chips.

Those announcements could be:

Gurman describes the new low cost MacBook as ‘very likely’, especially given the fact that the rumored color options are included in Apple’s official invite graphic. On the other hand, he notes that it may be ‘overkill’ to launch both the Mac Studio and Studio Display at this event, and was mostly just noting that they’re in the pipeline.

Additionally, he notes that iPhone 16e, M3 iPad Air, M4 MacBook Air, and M4 Pro/Max MacBook Pro are running very low in supply at Apple Stores. These products are very likely to be updated soon.

It’s also worth noting that Gurman says the announcements could include software and chips, so we might not necessarily see more than five new hardware products. Nonetheless, Apple’s upcoming launch sounds like a very exciting kickoff to 2026.
