The first episode, “Roklue: Awards Season,” launches Saturday, March 7, and features questions “inspired by Hollywood’s biggest award show moments and celebrated films.” The game debuts one week before the most popular awards show, the Academy Awards, which itself will switch to streaming in 2029.
The Roklue quiz will be available from the Roku Home screen, and is playable with your remote control, and the company says the experience will feature other “major cultural moments” throughout the year.
Roku is one of the most popular streaming platforms with 90 million global users in 2025 while its free streaming service Roku Channel is also available on most operating systems including Apple TV and Google TV.
