Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK will transition to an “AI-centric model” through a new partnership as professional services groups increasingly turn to the technology.
The group aims to become the UK’s leading example of an AI-powered consultancy through a tie-up with IntellixCore, a London-based agentic AI company.
RSM UK will also launch a dedicated AI Lab to encourage increased adoption of the technology across its business.
“Being AI-centric is about rewiring your business around the capabilities of AI to the benefit of your clients or customers, with clear guardrails relevant to your industry and regulatory environment,” said Chris Knowles, chief digital officer at RSM UK.
“We have already made significant progress, including training all our people on core generative AI skills.”
Among the firm’s AI integrations is its Tax Insight platform, which supports clients in achieving tax compliance.
“This new partnership will allow us to further innovate our client solutions,” added Knowles.
Rob Donaldson, chief executive at RSM UK, added: “We want to be right at the forefront of AI adoption, but thoughtfully and always in ways that benefit our clients.
“It is not technology for technology’s sake, it’s about empowering our people to go the extra mile for our clients by releasing them from the more routine, less rewarding tasks. And it’s also about offering terrific career opportunities for those keen to build deep digital skills in the accounting industry.”
