Samsung is all set to unveil its two budget-friendly smartphones in India dubbed Samsung Galaxy M16 and M06 5G. The tech giant has confirmed the India launch of these two smartphones. Additionally, the company has made live the dedicated teaser of both the phones on e-commerce platform Amazon. Both the phones are successor of Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G. However, the company has not yet revealed the exact launch date of the phones.
To recall, both smartphones were spotted on the BIS certification site with the model numbers SM-E066B/DS and SM-M066B/DS. The ‘DS’ in the model number indicates that the phone has dual SIM connectivity. The listing shows that the phone received certification on January 13.
In addition, both the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification with the same model number. The new phone is said to be offered in black, blue, dark green, purple, and orange colors.
As seen in the poster a capsule-shaped camera module has been seen on the back of the M16 and M06 phones. Both the phones will be run on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI. The company could bring bpth the phones with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor which is an upgrade from the Dimensity 6100+.
Talking about the price, the Galaxy F06 and Galaxy M06 will be priced under Rs 15,000 just like their predecessors. They are likely to come with 4GB of RAM and 6GB or 8GB RAM.
To recall, The sale of Samsung Galaxy F06 5G has started recently in India, with a starting price of Rs 9,499. This phone has a 6.7-inch display. Apart from this, the phone is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The phone has a 50MP primary camera for photography. The phone’s battery is 5000mAh.
