Samsung Unpacked event is all set to take place in January 2025 and it is going to bring the Galaxy S25 series in the global market. The series will consist of three phones – Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Plus. Now, the latest leaks have suggested that the brand is also bringing the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 in the same event as well. Apart from that, the brand will most probably introduce the Project Moohan XR headset.
Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 expected details
In a report published by DigiTimes, it has been said that the Galaxy Ring 2 will showcased in the Unpacked event. The second generation Galaxy Ring 2 will be launched in 9 different sizes similar to the first generation Galaxy Ring. The size variants are introduced to target a large number of audience. Previously, Max Jambor suggested that Samsung will bring sizes 14 and 15 with Ring 2.
The second generation ring will also bring thinner chassis to suit better to the wearer. The device is also expected to have a durable battery that the first generation ring. The first ring had a battery that lasted over seven days. Expectations are that the second ring will cross the threshold of ten days. Health sensors offered in device will be more accurate than its predecessor along with enhanced AI features as well.
After the unveiling of the Galaxy Ring 2 in January 2025, the ring will go on sale starting from July or August 2025 most probably. Apart from that, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be available for pre-orders on February 24, 2025, along with early access reservations will begin on Feb 4, 2025. As for the specifications, we are all set to see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in the upcoming flagship series of Samsung.
