Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series in January this year, and since then, the focus has shifted to its upgraded successor, the Galaxy S26 series. Rumors and leaks surrounding the upcoming series have been steadily increasing, revealing potential features and specifications. The latest leak focuses on the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, giving users a glimpse of what to expect from the flagship device.

Battery Capacity

According to a report, the Galaxy S26 Ultra appeared on China Quality Certification Centre (CQCC), which revealed details about its battery. The listing suggests that the upcoming smartphone may feature a 5000mAh battery, similar to the current Galaxy S25 Ultra. Earlier leaks had suggested various battery capacities ranging from slightly smaller than the S25 Ultra to as high as 5500mAh, showing that Samsung might still be finalizing the exact specifications.

Fast Charging and Performance Upgrades

Recent media reports indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could support 60W to 65W fast charging, enabling quick top-ups for power users. The device is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, offering flagship-level performance. Additionally, the handset may feature up to 16GB of RAM, making it a powerhouse for multitasking, gaming, and heavy usage.

Launch Timeline and Pricing

Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch date for the Galaxy S26 series yet. However, reports and leaks strongly indicate that the new lineup will likely be introduced sometime in 2026. Pricing is expected to be in line with the current Galaxy S25 series, keeping it in the premium flagship segment.

With the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, users can expect a blend of high-capacity battery, rapid charging, and powerful performance. While official details are still under wraps, these leaks give a fair idea of what Samsung’s next-generation flagship will offer.
