It is now official! Samsung is all set to host its much-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 in New York. As per the trend, the event is expected to unveil foldable phones by the tech giant. The company is expected to launch its next-gen foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, (and a newly Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE) — along with a few other devices, including the Galaxy Watch 8 series and new Galaxy Buds.
Ahead of the official reveal on July 9th, a latest leak shed light on the expected price of both the primary foldable smartphones by Samsung, which hints at a noticeable price hike over last year’s models, at least in some markets. Here is how much these Samsung foldables may cost.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7: Expected Price
According to a listing spotted on an Italian electronics retail website, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 may carry higher price tags than the Fold 6 and Flip 6. Based on the leak, the price for the:
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 (256GB): €2,227.71
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 (512GB): €2,309.03
- Galaxy Z Flip 7 (512GB): €1,425.51
When compared to last year’s pricing, this suggests a bump of around €100–€200, depending on the model. For context, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (512GB) was priced at around €2,119 at launch, while the Flip 6 (512GB) came in at €1,319.
Keep in mind that these prices include Italy’s 22% VAT, so they might differ slightly in other European countries. On the other hand, the price in India and other markets such as US, UK, Canada and more are still unknown. Some reports suggest that US pricing may remain unchanged, at least initially.
However, the final price and details will be confirmed with the Unpacked event, which kicks off at 10 am ET (7:30 pm IST) on July 9.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7: What To Expect
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. Colour choices may include Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to launch in 256GB and 512GB variants, with colours like Blue Shadow, Coral Red, and Jet Black on offer. Samsung may also reserve exclusive shades for purchases made via its official website.
