Samsung today opened pre-orders for its first tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, in China, with limited units available each day on the company’s online store. The device is priced at RMB 19,999 ($2,830) for the 16GB + 512GB model and RMB 21,999 ($3,110) for the 16GB + 1TB version. The Galaxy Z TriFold uses an inward-folding G-shaped hinge. It features a 6.5-inch cover screen and unfolds into a 10-inch main display. The handset measures 3.9 mm at its thinnest point and weighs 309 grams. The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and includes a 200MP triple camera, a 5,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and Android 16 with Samsung’s Galaxy AI features.
