It’s been a busy couple of weeks for mobile enthusiasts. Google’s new Pixel phones were announced last week, and Apple’s invites for an “awe-dropping” iPhone 17 event went out this week. Now, Samsung has scheduled an Unpacked Event for Sept. 4.

The virtual event will stream on Samsung’s YouTube channel (embedded above) and website at 5:30 a.m. ET. This would be the fourth major product unveiling event from Samsung this year. It previously held an Unpacked event for the Galaxy S25 series in January and another one for its Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE, and Watch 8 in July. Between those two, Samsung also snuck in a livestream event for the Galaxy S25 Edge in May.

With so many products already announced, what does Samsung have up its sleeve? All signs point to the Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition). In its press release, Samsung says it will unveil “a wider range of devices—from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family.” In July, Samsung also teased “an earlier launch of the S25 FE.”

The last two generations of the Galaxy FE line, the S23 FE and S24 FE, launched in October, so a September launch makes sense. Typically, these phones offer most of the flagship phone experience for a lower price.

Additionally, the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra launched around the same time last year, so we may also see the Galaxy Tab S11 series. Samsung is running a deal that lets you reserve the next Galaxy Tab now and receive $50 in Samsung credit when you actually make a purchase.

SamMobile expects both the tablets and the S25 FE to come with Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. Samsung is also rumored to be working on a trifold phone. However, it’s unlikely the company would announce a new product category in a virtual event.

Soon after Samsung’s Sept. 4 event, Apple will announce its new iPhones and Apple Watches on Sept. 9. Check out our coverage to find out how to watch that event and what to expect.
