SanDisk has teamed up with Crayola to launch a flash drive that’s as fun as it is functional – and yes, it looks just like a big crayon.
The new SanDisk Crayola USB-C Flash Drive is the first officially licensed Crayola storage device out there, and it’s an eye-catcher for students, parents, kids, and, honestly, anyone who remembers those bright crayon boxes.
You get four bold colours to choose from: Mango Tango, Cerulean Blue, Electric Lime, and Vivid Violet. The drive offers up to 256 GB of storage and comes packaged in a mini version of the iconic Crayola box.
SanDisk says the drive is perfect for backing up art projects, homework, photos, and games, offering a more playful way to stay organised. Additionally, when plugged into a computer, a custom Crayola icon appears in the Files app, making it easy to spot right away.
At its core, it’s still a standard USB-C flash drive. It works seamlessly across all the usual compatible devices, such as tablets, laptops, and desktops. With the Memory Zone app, users can transfer, back up, and sort files across devices, so creative projects and digital keepsakes are safely stored.
To celebrate the launch, each purchase comes with a bonus: each purchase comes with a three-month Crayola Create & Play subscription and some Thinking Sheets, which are interactive digital activities meant to spark creativity and self-expression to help get your ideas flowing.
Prices start at £12.99 for 64GB, £17.99 for 128GB, and £25.99 for the 256GB version. You can grab one now from SanDisk.
Whether you’re a kid, a teacher, or just someone who likes tech that looks a little unique (and fun), this is storage space with a splash of nostalgia and imagination, showing that even your flash drive can be part of your creative toolkit.
