Didn’t even have time to complain in fact. Season 1 of Dan Da Dan is over and while our review is coming soon, we could have indulged in a certain spleen and started counting the days, with death in our souls, before the announcement of a season 2 .
See you in July
Well that’s not knowing well Science Saru. The studio cut all suspense immediately after the broadcast of the 12th and final episode: season 2 of Dan Da Dan arrives in July 2025 on Netflix et Crunchyroll.

On the official visual, we find our duo, including Okarun transformed and Momo holding Turbo-Grannythe dangerous witch transformed into a lucky cat and Jiji, introduced towards the end of season 1, who looms over them, two menacing eyes at his back and paintings all around them representing the greatest composers, like Beethoven or Bach.
For the moment, no other indication has been given concerning this second season, which is inevitably expected. Dan Da Dan is a series which tells the adventures of two high school students, Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, who are completely opposites. She believes in ghosts. He only has eyes for aliens. While each wants to prove the other wrong during a challenge, fate brings them together, proving that they are both right. Not without consequences.
It’s the start of a crazy adventure, mixing paranormal and supernatural on one side and the development of feelings on the other for an explosive cocktail.
The manga is still being published as of April 2021 on the digital platform Shonen Jump +. In Japan, 17 volumes have already been released, while volume 15 was published on December 3 in France. A special presentation of the work will take place on the stage of Jump Fiesta this Saturday, December 21 at 5 p.m. (Japanese time). With a big focus, certainly, on season 2 of the anime.
