Several Logitech Devices Seeing New/Improved Support With Linux 6.19

All of the Human Interface Devices (HID) subsystem updates were merged a few days ago for the ongoing Linux 6.19 kernel merge window. Standing out this cycle on the HID side are seeing new/improved support for several Logitech devices.

The HID logitech-dj driver added support for the G Pro X Superlight 2. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is a high-end wireless gaming mouse retailing for ~$130+ USD. There was a new USB device ID needed and appropriate mapping for getting the receiver support in order. From Linux user-space this mouse can be further configured using Piper/libratbag.

The logitech-dj driver was additionally updated to support a new version of Logitech’s Lightspeed receiver.

Logitech G13

With Linux 6.19 in 2026 the mainline kernel is also finally supporting the Logitech G13 gaming keypad. This mainline driver support is coming around 17 years after the G13 hardware release and is no longer manufactured by Logitech.

Lastly the Logitech G510 keyboard support was improved for backlight brightness control handling.

XP-PEN Artist 24 tablet

The Linux 6.19 HID updates also brought power management and hibernation improvements to the Intel Sensor Hub (ISH) driver, support for the UcLogic XP-PEN Artist 24 Pro drawing tablet, WinWing Orion2 throttle support improvements, and various smaller additions.
