Sky underwent a major rebrand in April, axing several fan-favourite channels including Christian broadcaster TWR and Sky Sports RacingSD.

It also swapped the schedules of some of their viewers favourite shows ahead of the planned shakeup in May.

The latest wave of changes kicked off on May 2, with the broadcaster renaming their popular Sky Horror channel.

The channel will now be named Sky SciFi/Horror and will have an HD version, as most Sky channels do.

Sky Apocalyptic will be renamed Favourites HD and Sky Cinema Action will be renamed to Sky Heroes.

The changes will continue on May 6, when Sky Favourites is renamed SkyStarTrekHD.

On May 9, Sky Hits will be renamed SkyMegaHits HD and, on May 10, Sky Heroes will revert back to Sky Action HD.

The broadcaster is known for offering a wide range of extras for its viewers, including free cinema tickets.

Anyone who pays for Sky Cinema is entitled to two free Vue tickets, meaning you can see a film for free every month with a friend or partner.

Sky VIP will also start offering new “monthly changing discounts” from May 6, alongside seasonal offers and promotions.

Sky also allows you to stream movies via any app of your choice on Sky Glass, giving you access to big names like MTV and South Park when you use Pluto TV.

Other apps like Tubi are also popular, as the streaming service offers hundreds of fan-favourite movies for free.
