SKY Sports is bringing a much loved channel back to millions of TV screens today.
The broadcaster has confirmed that its subscribers will regain access to a popular channel, following a new deal.

Beloved channel to make return to Sky Sports
Sports fans will be able to tune into Sky Sports NFL from today onwards, as a result of a new broadcast deal which will run until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Subscribers will be able to access first-pick games exclusively on the channel as it is set to return to Sky, NOW and Virgin Media.
This comes after Paramount announced last week that it would be carrying live NFL every Sunday in the UK on 5 and 5ACTION.
As Sky braces to go head-to-head with 5, it has promised that its subscribers will have access to the first-pick exclusive game on Sunday at 6pm live on Sky Sports NFL as well as the first pick for the Sunday 9pm game.
In addition to the the introduction of extra Sunday matches and coverage of all European matches, the channel will also air Sky’s existing NFL programming for the next three seasons.
This includes broadcasting games every Thursday, Sunday and Monday night.
Viewers can also expect some NFL coverage to spill over to Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Mix.
The new season commences on Thursday 4 September.
How to access new channel
For UK viewers, Sky Sports NFL will replace Sky Sports Action on Sky satellite channel 412 and Sky Stream channel 410.
While in the Republic of Ireland, sports fan can access it on Sky satellite channel 416 and Sky Stream 410.
The channel will also be available via NOW and other third-party platforms that carry Sky Sports.

Sky makes channel changes
This comes after Sky announced five major channel changes last earlier this year.
Among those to be affected were Sky Nature and Sky Arts.
Changes to channel names are made for a variety of reasons including for new arrivals, theme changes and rebranding efforts.
Sky also confirmed that Sky Sports The Lions (Satellite 408/865 – Sky Glass/Stream 408) was reverting to its original name, Sky Sports Action/Sky Sports Action HD, after a temporary rebrand.
Sky’s latest channel changes
Here is a full list of the channels affected by the changes made on July 31:
- Sky Nature UK and ROI services move from 124 (125 Scotland) to 145 on satellite only.
- Sky Arts UK and ROI services move from 130 (131 Scotland) to 124 (125 Scotland) on satellite only.
- Challenge UK and ROI services move from 145 to 130(131 Scotland) on satellite only.
- Sky Nature HD moves from 822 to 826 on satellite only.
- Sky Arts HD moves from 826 to 822 on satellite only.
Sky isn’t the only platform that is shaking things up.
In July, The Sun reported on Channel 4’s plans to launch a new digital only channel called A Comedy Thing.
It is set to bring four new unscripted comedies along with it when it launches in just a few days time.
The new channel will be managed by Strong Watch Studios.
Charlie Hyland, digital commissioner at Channel 4, said: “Channel 4 has always been at the forefront of fresh new comedy.
“This new comedy channel is built on a deep understanding of what people love to watch online and where we want to be creatively.”
