MACHINES | Mettler-Toledo is launching a new data management software version ProdX 2.7 that, according to the company, will enable food manufacturers to improve their product safety.
Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection, supplier of precision instruments for industry, announces the release of ProdX 2.7, the latest update to the data management software for product inspection ProdX. According to the company, the update improves device management, operational efficiency and data insights for optimizing production lines and ensuring sustainability efforts.
ProdX is integrated into product inspection systems, such as checkweighing, metal detection, X-ray inspection and vision inspection systems. According to Mettler-Toledo, the software is designed to save manufacturers time and money by automating quality control processes. “The system monitors, reports and collects all product inspection activities in real time, so manufacturers can maintain regulatory compliance and protect their brand image by securely storing the data. By analyzing this data, improvements to the production line can be easily identified, increasing productivity and addressing rising costs.”
