During New York Comic Con, Sony announced that Spider-Man 2 coming to PC on January 30th. The Dutch Nixxes Software will once again be responsible for the port.
The developer previously released the previous one Spider-Man games to Steam and will therefore also do this for the second part. Earlier this year, Sony also released Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok in Ghost of Tsushima to the PC, so in that respect this announcement is not very surprising.
The fact that Insomniac now claims not to add “extra storylines” to the game is surprising. There have been rumors floating around the internet for some time now about a possibility Venom DLC. However, a Venom game was spotted in Insomniac’s data last year. The developer was hacked at the time and a number of game names were spotted, as well as images of an early version Marvel’s Wolverine.
Unfortunately we didn’t hear anything about that game during NYCC, but perhaps this will happen during the Game Awards?!
