The sequel to the highly acclaimed Subnautica is finally dated! Six years after the release of the first opusthe Unknown Worlds Entertainment teams have just revealed a first teaser and give us appointment for 2025 with quite a few new features including one four-player co-op mode.

It was during the last Xbox Partners Showcase that the Unknown Worlds Entertainment teams offered us a first preview of Subnautica 2 hinting at an early access release window for 2025. On the program, players will be able to return to exploration in this gigantic underwater open worldvia a single-player experience, a four-player cooperative mode and a construction mode.
Following this announcement, the studio Unknown Worlds Entertainment gave some details through an artist who declared: “Whether you’ve experienced our previous adventures or are new to the Subnautica games, you’ll be able to explore lush new environments, encounter fascinating creatures around every corner, and uncover the secrets hidden at the heart of this mysterious planet. But as familiar as things may seem to seasoned gamers at first glance, Subnautica 2 will deliver new and unique experiences that will keep you hooked.”.
The game will be available in early access in 2025 without further details. It is expected, for the moment, on PC et Xbox Series X/S with an arrival Day One dans le Game Pass. Co-op multiplayer will be available upon launch of the game. The developers have confirmed that the game will suit both solo players and multi players.
Of course, Subnautica 2 will feature new tools as well as new vehicles and improved base buildings, with a host of new creatures large and small, the likes of which you’ve never seen before.
