Synology has announced the immediate availability of its new Compact storage solution with two DS725+ bays. This device offers scalability for the growing data needs of companies, thanks to the support for a DX525 expansion unit. With him, the DS725+ can count on up to five additional unit bays, which will allow him to save a maximum of raw 140 TB.
For everything related to network connectivity, the Synology DS725+ has a 2.5 GBE port, as well as a 1 GBE RJ-45 port. In addition, this device admits SSD M.2 NVMEs for storage in SSD cache, or everything in high performance flash.
The DS725+ is designed as a complete system with which to achieve performance and reliability consistent with Synology hard drives. It has a units compatibility framework backed by more than 7,000 hours of tests. It is driven by Al Dissation Manager (DSM) of Synology, and has characteristics designed to meet the needs of business data management.
Synology Drive transforms the system into a private cloud, in addition to allowing multiplatform access. Provides site synchronization for distributed equipment. Active Backup Suite offers comprehensive protection for windows, Linux or macOS devices, as well as virtual machines and cloud accounts, with flexible backup options outside the site.
As for Surveillance Station, it offers scalable video management and intelligent analysis in real time to protect physical assets. The Synology DS725+ unit is now available through the Synology partners and distributors network at a global level.
