A MOTHER has slammed Target after her young daughter’s holiday item “caught on fire.“
The fuming woman took to social media to share her rage, as she described the Stegosaurus Menorahs as “flammable.”
Whilst we thought Target popped off this year with their Hanukkah merchandise, one mom has been left red-faced with her purchase, which didn’t take long to end in tears.
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Robyn Smith Kaiser, a Reformed publicist turned HUD consultant, shared snaps of her five-year-old child’s candle holder.
Robyn, who is from Jacksonville, Florida, wrote under the username @RobynRSTAR and snapped: “I’m a mad & sad mama!”
She then added: “My 5-year old daughter could not use her Target Stegosaurus Menorahs to light for more than ONE TIME with her friends.
“Why? Because they caught on fire!”
Target’s Stegosaurus Menorah is a fun take on a typical seven-branched candelabrum.
The item is normally designed to hold candles.
Such Menorahs are typically lit during the eight-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
But Robyn, who described herself as a “Tattooed Jew,” was left fuming when her daughter’s Menorah “caught on fire.”
Luckily, Robyn was able to intervene before any major damage was done.
The Hanukkah Dino Menorah, which is now not available to buy on the Target website, was once priced at $15.
But the angry Target shopper, who also described herself as a “Master Networker,” was clearly not impressed with her affordable and adorable buy.
She then questioned: “Tell me why something meant to hold lit candles is FLAMMABLE?”
Clearly fuming, she continued: “Target you need to answer for this!”

To Robyn’s tweet, Target replied and wrote: “We are so sorry to hear about the quality of the stegosaurus menorah.
“Can you please DM us your full name, contact information and the receipt.
