Swift has been a regular feature at Kelce’s NFL games since going public over 18 months ago.
The 13-time Grammy Award winner was by the tight end’s side as he suffered heartbreak in Super Bowl LIX last month.
Kelce has chosen to return for another season in the NFL despite rumors around his retirement.
The 35-year-old hosts popular podcast New Heights alongside his brother Jason.
And a throwaway comment during the pod’s latest episode has got Swift fans talking.
Travis and Jason were joined by Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis to discuss his career.
The trio got talking about Sudeikas and his work on Saturday Night Live with Swift way back in 2009.
Swift first presented the iconic show just months after being infamously interrupted by Kanye West at the MTV Music Awards.
Sudeikas and Swift joined forces for a sketch that included him trying to spot Kanye lookalikes in the audience.
“We did a sketch called Potato Chip”, Sudeikis began.
“Nice! [With] a young Taylor, too.”, Kelce interrupted.
Fans were quick to comment on Kelce’s in-depth knowledge of his beau’s early career.
“I’m starting to wonder if there’s any video of Taylor that this man hasn’t found. OG Swiftie,” replied one on X.
Kelce debated retiring following the Chiefs’ brutal Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last month.
The 35-year-old has confirmed he will return for at least another year at Arrowhead.
‘Well-talked-about personal life’
Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.
“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.
“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”
And teammate Rashee Rice has taken credit for being the one to convince Kelce to play on.
“I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, I’m 95 percent of the reason he ain’t retiring,” he told REVOLT Sports.
“Told him he can’t go out like that. I’m gonna make sure we get that next year.
“He was finna hang it up. I’m pretty sure he was gonna hang it up. And I’m like, ‘Bro, we can’t go out like that.'”
