The Beauty Tech Group (TBTG) is more than tripling the size of its HQ at Glasshouse in Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park campus in Macclesfield.
The firm, which specialises in home-use beauty technology, has experienced four years of growth driven in part by the international success of their CurrentBody Skin LED mask.
The group is increasing its footprint from 5,000 sq ft to over 16,000 sq ft, which should provide a new space for up to 200 people.
Alderley Park is home to more than 250 startups, scale ups and global companies.
“TBTG’s growth at Alderley Park is a great example of what providing a supportive, collaborative ecosystem can do for scaling innovative businesses,” said Bruntwood SciTech’s Sam Birtwistle.
“Our ability to flex and adapt to meet TBTG’s needs over the years has meant its North West headquarters have remained at the heart of the business.
“As it grows its presence at Glasshouse, we are excited to see the next chapter in their success story, and their continued impact within our community.”
Laurence Newman, chief executive of TBTG, added: “It is important that our headquarters reflects our cutting edge products backed by science.
“Since moving to Glasshouse at Alderley Park in 2021, the group has continued to develop and it was an easy decision to find a larger space for our growing teams.
“Whilst we are a truly international business with offices in the US and China, Glasshouse at Alderley Park is our HQ and I am delighted to be committing to the future here.”
