Technology leads hiring forecasts in Spain

A ManpowerGroup employment projection study confirms that Technology heads once again hiring expectations in Spain For the third quarter of 2025, with a net job generation of 31%. This data reflects an increase of 10 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year and 14 points above the national average, which is 17%.

Specifically, 45% of technological organizations expect to increase their template Between October and December, 40% plans to keep it stable and only 15% anticipate cuts, explains Myriam Blázquez, general director of Experis, specialized firm in IT of ManpowerGroup:

«Technology has established itself as a Strategic axis for business growth, promoting the creation of qualified jobs throughout the country. Organizations need professionals capable of leading innovation projects and accelerating digital transition in very diverse sectors. However, although hiring expectations are very positive, it is also important to analyze the level of experience that is being demanded. At this time, we see how many large companies are slowing down the incorporation of junior profiles and betting on senior professionals. This nuance is key to understanding the current dynamics of the technological market and anticipating how employability will evolve in the sector in the coming months ».

Behind the technological field are the sector of Transport, Logistics and Automotivewith 25%employment generation forecasts. Two percentage points below, with 23%, is the sector of Advertising and communicationafter an outstanding rise of 13 points with respect to the previous quarter.

With a 19% tie are the financial and real estate sector, after a considerable rise of 10 points with respect to the previous quarter, and the health and pharmacy sector, which remains in near and stable figures with respect to the previous period (17%).

With the lowest results we find the industry sector, with 9%, experiencing a 9 -point drop with respect to the previous quarter and 13 points compared to the same period of the previous year. The energy sector, although it improves 12 points, continues to be the sector with worse expectations (-3%), having experienced a 27-point drop with respect to the fourth quarter of 2024.

In the international arena, technological companies also lead the intentions of hiringwith a 36%forecast, which places them 13 points above the global average (23%). They are followed by transport, logistics and automotive, with 24%, and with a draw by 20% the sectors of goods and services, energy and health and pharmacy.
