It seems like the race to produce thin smartphones is going to heat up as new smartphones are lined up to take up the market as well. In a recent development, Tecno has also claimed its candidacy in the Slim phone segment with the introduction of the Tecno Spark Slim concept phone that will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2025. If this ever becomes a reality, then Tecno will join the race alongside Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple iPhone 17 Air.
Tecno Spark Slim details
The Tecno Spark Slim will measure 5.75mm as claimed by the manufacturers. The company has also shared the official images of the phone and it looks slimmer as compared to a pencil in the photo. It comes with rounded corners and has a protruding horizontal camera bar which looks pretty identical to the one we got to see in the Pixel 9 series by Google.
It will also sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a secondary shooter as well. For the sake of capturing selfies and attending video calls, it will bring a 13MP front snapper. It is also being said that the phone will be powered by a 5200mAh battery along with 45W wired fast charging support.
The device will come with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display along with 1.5K pixel resolution. In addition, the display will have a 144Hz refresh rate along with 4500 nits of peak brightness as well. Until Now Tecno has not revealed the processor of the smartphone but it has been confirmed that the device will ship with a high-end octa-core CPU. As claimed by Tecno, the phone has been created with recycled aluminum and stainless steel unibody.
