TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans’ son Jace has moved back in with his grandmother Barbara in North Carolina after a family fight last week.
Sources close to the former MTV star exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Jace, 16, is now living with his grandmother, who raised him for most of his life.

“Jace is back in North Carolina and is living with Barbara for the foreseeable future,” the insider claimed.
The source added the teen is continuing his education online, as he had been doing in recent months while living with his mother in Las Vegas.
Jenelle and Barbara did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
In an Instagram Q&A session, Jenelle, 33, was asked how she feels about Jace, after the teen moved out following a family fight last week.
Jenelle called the situation “a full circle moment” for Jace, which may have been a nod to how he’s once again living with his grandmother, whom he calls Meme.
Jenelle slammed her mother in the comments.
Someone asked if she thought history was repeating itself with Jace acting like she once did with her own mother.
Jenelle blamed Barbara’s parenting, saying: “It’s the way he was raised with my mom, I had to rewire myself out of being too reactive in situations and learn to sit and listen. Had to teach myself not to cuss every other word like I grew up with.”
JENELLE AND JACE BLOW UP
Last week, Jace posted screen grabs of texts with his reality star mother.
The nasty exchange happened just before the teen was sent across the country from Vegas to North Carolina to move back in with Barbara.
In the texts, the teen told his former Teen Mom 2 star mother: “I don’t care about Kaiser and Ensley, I care about my health and my living situation.”
“I don’t need you, you don’t need me, and I don’t understand why you’re doing this just because I’m telling the truth. You’re crazy.”
Jenelle responded in the messages, saying: “You’re the one saying you’re going to have my custody taken. F*** YOU.”
Jace also appeared to reiterate claims that he was strangled by Jenelle’s ex-husband, David Eason.
Jenelle responded: “Jace posting our private texts was his reaction to being rightfully disciplined,” before attributing his behavior to his “medical diagnoses” and revealing that he had been “in trouble with the law these past few months.”
REPORTED TO CPS
Last week, the U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Child Protective Services had once again been called on Jenelle’s home, though the reality star has repeatedly denied the family services agency’s involvement this time.
Jenelle had been partying with her old friend and fellow OnlyFans star, Tori Rhyne, and had left her younger kids in the care of her oldest son, according to sources.
When contacted by The U.S. Sun for comment, Jenelle said, “That’s not true, I have a babysitter, I’ve had the same babysitter for a while, I use Care.com.”
Jenelle also said: “CPS has not came to my house at all.”
The U.S. Sun also reached out to Clark County CPS for comment.
Earlier this year, the troubled teen was sent to live with his dad, Andrew Lewis, in Florida, but the arrangement ultimately didn’t work out.
The MTV star relocated from North Carolina to Las Vegas after filing for separation from David, months after he allegedly strangled her oldest son.
Jenelle and David’s relationship timeline

The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
While the alleged abuse incident took place on September 28, a court official informed The U.S. Sun that the felony case against Jace’s 37-year-old stepfather remains active.
The case is currently set for trial in January 2026, according to court records.
David, who shares daughter Ensley with Jenelle and has two other children from previous relationships, was initially charged with misdemeanor child abuse in October.
Jenelle’s divorce from David was finalized last month, although the pair is still working through the remaining details in court.
