According to a court update, the Teen Mom star was released because his sentence was officially served.
Bar faces strict rules connected to his release and plea deal.
If he has any further domestic violence charges within the next seven years, he could face increasingly severe penalties, including fines of up to $5,000 and six years in prison.
In addition to agreeing to avoid trouble, Bar also agreed to complete substance abuse evaluations, parenting classes, and adhere to the no-contact order with Ashley, 27.
CALIFORNIA RELEASE
Bar was only briefly held in a local California jail after being transferred there last week on a warrant relating to gun charges in The Golden State.
Bar was picked up by California authorities on March 12, after he was released from the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.
A clerk from Clark County informed The U.S. Sun at the time “He had a fugitive case out of California. They came to pick him up.”
Before he kidnapped Ashley in Nevada, Bar was already in hot water with California cops after he discharged a firearm at her college graduation party in the state in 2021.
Bar had a warrant out for him in California for not showing up to court for charges connected to that incident.
Bar’s most recent arrest occurred in Nevada in July 2024.
He agreed to a plea deal last month after spending months in jail for assaulting Ashley at her home in Las Vegas.
Court documents show that on February 28, Bar pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of battery constituting domestic violence connected to the alarming July 7 incident.
During the incident, he “willfully and unlawfully used force or violence” against Ashley and “blocked doors to prevent” her from leaving.
As part of the court’s ruling, the MTV star was sentenced to six months in the Clark County Detention Center and one year of probation.
The July 7 confrontation occurred after the former MTV star allegedly saw Instagram photos of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Ashley with her new boyfriend.
This reportedly led him to cross state lines for what authorities described as a terrifying encounter.
BREAKING & ENTERING
During the July 7 incident last year, the Teen Mom star contacted her mother and expressed concerns that Bar might be in her apartment.
She told her mother to call police if she was right.
When the MTV star opened the door to her home, her mom, Tasheilia, overheard Bar in the background saying, “Hello baby mama.”
Tasheilia immediately called 911.
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter Cast
In September 2022, MTV blended their long-running shows Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 to one series following the young mothers’ experiences raising their kids and co-parenting with their baby dads. Here’s a list of the entire Teen Mom: The Next Chapter cast.
When cops knocked on her door they heard a male voice claiming they had the wrong apartment, which the officers recognized as untrue.
Eventually, Ashley came to the door and confirmed Bar was inside and refusing to leave.
Ashley would tell police that when she entered her home, her ex was waiting on her couch and demanded to be taken to her new boyfriend’s home.
When she refused he allegedly threatened her: “Say something again, and I will break your f***ing jaw.”
She told the responding officers she believed him, “due to his violent past with her and was afraid for her life and wellbeing.”
He then allegedly moved two barstools and put them against the front door, telling his estranged wife: “If you’re not leaving with me, you’re not leaving, period.”
CALLING IT QUITS
Ashley filed for divorce on August 1 and requested sole custody of their daughter, Holly Isabella Locket, 7.
The divorce was dismissed after both parties failed to attend a hearing in late 2024.
