On August 4, Tencent announced that its latest first-person shooter, Delta Force: Hawk Ops, will be launched in September, as the development team is entering the final sprint toward release. Set in 2035, Delta Force is a first-person tactical shooter in which players take the role of elite Delta Force operatives on a mission to investigate illegal activities allegedly conducted by the Haavk Corporation in the mysterious Ahsarah region. The title combines three popular shooting game modes: single-player story mission, arena-style combat, and survival evacuation battlefield. Additionally, Tencent’s domestic version of Dungeon and Fighter, which was released in China in May 2024, earned around $251 million in June, making it the highest-grossing mobile game of that month, according to market intelligence platform Sensor Tower.
