Tencent has launched WorkBuddy, an OpenClaw-like desktop AI agent for workplace tasks that supports local installation without cloud deployment, according to an official statement. The company said the product is also compatible with OpenClaw skills.
Tencent said WorkBuddy supports more than 20 skill packages and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing users to automate tasks such as information retrieval, report generation, and content drafting. The company added that the product can switch between multiple large models, including Hunyuan, DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, and MiniMax. [Tencent Cloud, in Chinese]
