Recently, users on social media platforms such as Xiaohongshu alleged that Tencent’s TiMi Studio is planning to lay off several hundred employees, possibly related to the Shanhai Xunling project team. In response, a source close to TiMi told Sina Tech that the claim is not accurate. While a project previously handled by the former TiMi J6 team has undergone adjustments, the number of employees affected is not in the hundreds, but slightly over 100.

The impacted employees have been given a two-month transition period, during which the company is actively facilitating internal transfers. Those who choose to leave after the two-month period will be eligible for N+1 compensation. According to the source, TiMi currently has more than 500 open positions, and the vast majority of affected employees are expected to have opportunities for internal reassignment.
