It’s Amazon Prime day once again, and our favorite Apple iPad is on deep discount for Prime members. The 11-inch Apple iPad with the A16 chip (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is marked down to just $328 for the 128GB Wi-Fi only model, and you can save some cash on basically ever Apple iPad model, from the compact iPad Mini up to the biggest iPad Pro with a cellular antenna.

If you’re after more deals, don’t forget to check out our Absolute Best Prime Big Deal Days roundup and our Prime Day Liveblog for up-to-the-minute sales on all of our favorite things, all tested and approved by WIRED staff.

This model falls smack in the middle in terms of both features and screen size, with Apple’s A16 chip, which is also found in the iPhone 15, providing plenty of horsepower for games and other important tasks. It’s not our favorite screen, unfortunately, as it doesn’t have the nano-textured anti-glare glass, and doesn’t have the feature set we like to see for the Apple Pencil if you plan on using it to draw. Importantly, this version doesn’t support Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI-assisted tools and features. Whether that’s a dealbreaker or a blessing will depend on where you stand on AI.

If you do want some of those advanced features, or you want Apple Intelligence, you might consider making the upgrade to the iPad Air (7/10, WIRED Review), marked down from its usual price of $599 to just $450 for the base model. It supports extra accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro, as well as the Magic Keyboard Case. The M3 chip was found in the 2023 lineup of MacBooks, and has an updated 9-core GPU that supports ray tracing in games, as well as giving all of your favorite applications a big performance boost.

iPad Mini (2024, 7th Gen)

The compact iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a great choice for anyone who wants to take their iPad everywhere with them, and is discounted to just $379 in a variety of colors. Even though it wasn’t updated in 2025, it sports the A17 Pro chip for Apple Intelligence features, as well as compatibility with the Apple Pencil Pro.

Finally, there are smaller discounts of 10% or less on most of the iPad Pro (6/10, WIRED Review), a tablet we don’t necessarily recommend, although it does have some high-end features like an OLED display and an incredible thin chassis that you won’t find on other models.
