A DOZEN channels have disappeared from Sky boxes over the month of January.
Viewers will have noticed some fan favourite networks axed over the past few weeks, including an iconic music station.
Since the start of the year, Sky has permanently removed 12 channels from air.
Amid a slew of changes, including renaming and replacements, a handful of networks were cut entirely, including a long-standing music channel.
The first set to be axed included four variants of MTV, which first launched in 1981 in the United States.
Four versions of children’s TV favourite Pop were also closed this month.
