I wrote about the best suits from Marvel’s Spider-Man last week, and I had so much fun writing and ranking them that I, of course, also had to do the same for the sequel. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is much shorter than the first game; to 100% the whole game would take around 18 1/2 hours (compared to the first’s 45 hours).
However, the development team still made sure to jam-pack the game with a ton of alternate skins; some amazing and some not so much. Let’s focus on the good today, though. Here are the 5 best suits from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
P.S. I got all these screenshots from this YouTube video. Check it out to see all of Miles Morales’ suits!
5 Best Suits From Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- T.R.A.C.K. Suit
- Into the Spider-Verse Suit
- The End Suit
- Miles Morales 2020 Suit
- Bodega Cat Suit
1. T.R.A.C.K. Suit
Okay, I constantly talk about how much I love the color black. But sometimes, white looks pretty damn good too. And this being the only skin in this game to heavily feature white makes it stand out immensely. Some people might find the mixture of the white bottom half and the black top half to be too clashing, but I think it’s fine. I’m not absolutely in love with it, but it still looks great.
I do wonder, though, how an all-white and red suit would look. Probably amazing. But as it is, the T.R.A.C.K. skin is still one of the most unique alternate skins in the game.
2. Into the Spider-Verse Suit

This was a tough one; I was between two choices: the Animated Suit and the Into the Spider-Verse Suit. Eventually, I decided to go with the Spider-Verse skin. Why? I love the spray paint/graffiti look that the suit has going on. It appears makeshift while still looking clean and sleek. If this were the default skin in the game, I wouldn’t be mad.
There’s another feature that makes this skin top-tier. It’s the way that Miles moves when he’s wearing it. His every move looks exactly how it does in the animated movie, almost like stop motion. Insomniac Games went as far as asking for advice from the team that worked on the Spider-Verse animated movie to get the motion down perfectly, and it shows. Even without the motion, though, the costume by itself looks fantastic.
3. The End Suit

I love sleek-looking costumes, but sometimes, you need something else. What I really love about The End Suit is the military aspects that it has, while still retaining that Spidey vibe. You still have the black and red, iconic superhero suit, but on top of it, you have the camo pants and jacket. Not to mention the giant combat boots.
This looks like a no-nonsense outfit. Like the type of outfit Miles would wear when he really needs to get down and dirty. No high-tech suit, no fancy gadgets, just straight ass-beating. Spider-Man often has to cycle between an Avenger saving the world and a street-level superhero saving the neighborhood, and this outfit screams street-level. And I mean that in the best way possible.
4. Miles Morales 2020 Suit

If The End Suit is Spider-Man’s street-level, no-nonsense outfit, the Miles Morales 2020 suit is the one he would wear when he has to go high-tech. The robotic chest and mask, along with his headphones makes this skin look very futuristic. If Daft Punk and Spider-Man had a baby, this is what it would look like.
But something else that I appreciate is that it’s not completely high-tech. He’s not completely robotized. Miles still has a cool jacket with an even cooler Spider-Man symbol on its back, and also some nice-looking black and red sneakers. It would have been easy to make the whole thing mechanical, but for them to rein it back and give him normal pieces of clothing was a great call.
5. Bodega Cat Suit

This alternate skin isn’t anything groundbreaking, but not everything has to be. I love how casual it looks. It looks like something he would wear in the morning on his way to school, but also like something he would (and should) wear in general because it looks cool.
A hoodie, backpack, and shirt over a superhero suit looks amazing, and now that I’m thinking about it, I would love to see Miles or any other superhero adopt something similar going forward. Not everyone can have Batman’s utility belt where he’s able to store anything and everything, so it would make sense to carry around a backpack. Plus, a hoodie is just a classic fashion staple that ups the cool factor.
And, of course, I have to bring up the cat that is sitting comfortably in his backpack. Swinging around town, defeating crime, and saving the day, all while a cute cat wearing a Spider-Man mask hangs out on your back is just too perfect. I really have no other choice but to officially declare the Bodega Cat suit as the best suit in the game.
Conclusion
Although Spider-Man: Miles Morales is much shorter than the first game, the development team did not disappoint with the alternate skins. They made sure to deliver some heaters. It was tough to choose the 5 best, but overall, I think I’m pretty comfortable with saying that these are the best that the game has to offer.
