If you’re after a phone with a big screen and excellent battery life for a low price, then this deal on the budget entry in the OnePlus Nord range is a standout choice
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is already priced to appeal to those looking for a budget phone, but Amazon has now sliced £30 off the RRP – taking it down to £169.
Considering we were big fans of the large OLED display and multi-day battery life when we reviewed the phone, this price drop represents a good deal.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is a great buy at full price, but at £169, £30 off its usual tag, it’s a no‑brainer for anyone ready to upgrade.

The large 6.67-inch display is great for streaming the latest shows on, and as it’s an OLED panel – a tech often reserved for pricier phones – colours really pop and blacks are perfectly deep. You get an always-on display for glanceable information without turning the phone’s screen on, too.
The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, a feature Apple has only just added to its base iPhone in 2025.
We were also huge fans of the OnePlus Nord 4 Lite 5G‘s battery life, which we managed to stretch to two full days of use. That’s not too surprising, considering the 5110mAh battery inside, but it’s very welcome and will ensure you don’t have battery anxiety on those longer days. When it comes to charging, the phone supports 80W SuperVOOC, which can juice the phone from 0-50% in less than 30 minutes.
There’s a 50MP dual-camera set-up on the back, which takes good snaps in daylight situations. While there are plenty of devices that cost more and sport better cameras, the imaging software has gone a long way to providing decent results, given the hardware involved.
The version of the phone on sale has 8GB RAM alongside 256GB of storage, more than enough space for thousands of photos and videos, as well as all the apps you need daily.
The option of going fully SIM-free also means that you’re not tied into a single network, so you have full freedom to jump between whichever provider has the best value deal for you.

The baby of the 2024 Nord lineup goes big on display and battery, but perhaps lacks foresight
