APPLE fans, check your iPhones for a tempting freebie that refreshes every month.

You’d normally have to pay for the perk – and better still, it might totally change your life.

Your iPhone has an app called Fitness, where you can find your activity stats for physical movement.

But it also contains a special service called Fitness+, which gives you loads of guided workout videos hosted by professional trainers that you can do at home.

Normally you’d pay £9.99 / $9.99 a month (that’s 32p a day) for access to this premium service.

But Apple is giving away a rolling monthly sample of workouts that you can enjoy without having to pay a penny.

TIME TO BUY!

The workouts appear if you don’t currently have an active Fitness+ membership.

If you go to the Fitness+ tab and scroll to the bottom, you should see a Free Monthly Sampler section.

Apple says: “Try these episodes one time – no trial or subscription needed.”

The tech giant appears to be offering a selection of different class types, including yoga, strength, and high intensity interval training, or HIIT.

We checked to see the current line-up of samples on an iPhone, and it showed:

  • Yoga with Jessica – 10 minutes (Chill Vibes)
  • HIIT with Anja – 10 minutes (Hip-Hop/R&B)
  • Strength with Kyle – 10 minutes (Upbeat Anthems)
  • Meditation with Jonelle – 5 minutes (Breath)
  • Time to Walk – 21 minutes (Nick Jonas)

You’re only able to take each class once as a free sample.

But with five classes, that’s enough to fit in a free workout each week from Apple.

Of course, the free selection pales in comparison to the full Fitness+ collection.

Apple’s Fitness+ proper has a vast library of more than 4,000 workouts.

So there’s still plenty of reason to pay if you want to have proper coaching from pro trainers.

BAG FREE APPLE FITNESS+

The other good news is that you might be owed free Apple Fitness+ without realising it.

Apple has a special promotion that gives you three months of access to the workout service if you’ve recently bought an eligible gadget.

And those three months worth out at a value of £29.97 / $29.97, so it’s not a bad freebie.

TIPS FOR STAYING CONSISTENT

Apple Fitness+ trainer Kim Ngo tells The Sun the best way to stay consistent with exercise is finding an activity you find fun and exciting.

She says: “An example for me would be dancing. I love to put a dance workout on, and I’m not a dancer.

“Don’t put me on a dance floor and put me in front of people – but if you put me on a dance workout, I’ll get down in my living room and shake my hips with my toddler running around and it’s the most fun ever!”

Fellow trainer Cory Wharton-Malcolm says setting up a plan via Apple Fitness+ also helps.

Cory says: “You wake up, it gives you a little nudge – ‘Don’t forget, you’ve got this workout today’.

“And it’s not pressure, it’s more of a reminder. That’s a great way to stay consistent.”

To get the offer, you need to have recently bought a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

Then you need to claim the offer inside the Apple Fitness app within the first three months of activating your device.

You should see the offer waiting there for you if you’re eligible.

Just remember that Fitness+ will automatically renew at the full monthly cost once the trial period expires.

So if you’re not loving it, make sure to cancel in advance.
