TL;DR

  • The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, and a large 10,050mAh battery.
  • It launches with Android 16 and promises five years of software updates, which is longer than the support for the OnePlus 15 flagships.
  • The tablet is priced at $399.99 in the US, with pre-orders open now and general sales starting December 26, 2025.

Alongside the OnePlus 15R, OnePlus is also refreshing its budget Android tablet offering with the new OnePlus Pad Go 2, which features a larger display, a newer processor, additional software updates, and more.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K (2,800 x 1,980 resolution) 120Hz LCD with Dolby Vision support, offering a peak brightness of 900 nits. The display size is larger than its predecessor, but the Pad Go 2 retains the squarish 7:5 aspect ratio for a book-like layout. The tablet measures 266.01mm x 192.77mm x 6.83mm, and the Wi-Fi variant weighs 597g. There are also quad speakers on board.

Another key upgrade is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, replacing the aging Helio G99. There is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on board. This time around, the tablet can also be purchased in a 5G variant alongside the usual Wi-Fi variant. This tablet features an 8MP camera on both the front and rear.

Powering the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is a 10,050mAh battery, which supports 33W SuperVOOC charging, though OnePlus is generously including a 45W SuperVOOC adapter in the box. You can also use the tablet to charge your phone at 6.5W, which should help tide you over emergencies.

The Pad Go 2 launches with Oxygen OS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. OnePlus is promising five years of software updates and six years of security updates for the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which is surprisingly one more year of software updates than what the OnePlus 15 and 15R flagships get!
