Google’s next flagship phone may have surfaced earlier than expected through a case render that appears to reveal small but noticeable design changes for the Pixel 11 Pro XL.

If Google sticks to its usual schedule, the Pixel 11 series should arrive around August. However, accessories for upcoming phones often appear months ahead of launch.

In this case, a render of a third-party case hints at what the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s shape might look like. It’s worth remembering that such leaks aren’t always based on final hardware dimensions.

Still, assuming the design is accurate, the most obvious change is the camera bar. The signature Pixel camera strip appears to protrude less than it does on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. This suggests a slightly flatter profile, though it’s unclear whether this means Google has reduced the camera bump itself. Alternatively, it could simply mean the overall phone body is thicker to compensate.

The render also hints that the camera bar may be slightly wider, with a shape that leans closer to a rectangle than the more rounded design seen on previous Pixel models. It’s a subtle tweak, but it could make the rear design look a little cleaner.

Beyond the external design, rumours surrounding the Pixel 11 lineup point to a bigger upgrade under the display. Reports suggest the phone could include an under-display infrared camera for more secure facial recognition while keeping the front of the device free from visible sensors.

For now, it’s far too early to know how accurate the case render really is. Accessory makers sometimes publish speculative designs to get ahead of a product launch or simply to attract attention online.

But if the details do turn out to be correct, Google may be refining the Pixel’s distinctive camera bar. Rather than reinventing it entirely for the next generation, the company may simply offer subtle changes.
