Redmagic just threw down the gauntlet for mobile gaming: the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series ships with the world’s first dual liquid-and-air cooling system in a mass-produced phone and some pretty tasty specs.

The gaming phone has an active liquid cooling system at its core. It uses AI-server-grade fluorinated liquid and a 0.85mm ceramic micro-pump to keep things seriously cool. These work in conjunction with the air cooling parts, which comprise of a Turbo Fan 4.0 that spins at 24,000 rpm and a 4D VC system with Liquid Metal 3.0 to form a four-layer thermal management loop.

These parts work together to make the phone cooler by 50%, helping solve one of biggest challenges faced by some of the best gaming phones out there. You’ll also get to see the thermal loop kick in, thanks to the the Redmagic 11 Pro’s translucent design.

Under the hood, the phone continues to impress. The Series 11 Pro packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, LPDDR5T RAM, and UFS4.1 PRO storage. Optimised by the Energy Cube 3.0, a RedCore R4 chip, and Ultra Graphics Engine 3.0, the device apparently achieves AnTuTu scores of over 4.358 million.

This translates to high-performance, stable gameplay with titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Wuthering Waves run at 60–90FPS on high settings. Redmagic says 200 other games can also be upscaled to 2K resolution at 144Hz – but it’s unclear what titles have actually been tested.

It also comes with 520Hz shoulder triggers, MagicTouch anti mistouch tech, and a Synaptics touch chip with a 3,000Hz instantaneous sampling burst (360Hz full-screen) for pro control.

On the battery front, the phone packs an 8,000mAh battery, paired with 120W and 80W wireless charging. Redmagic claims this will cope with up to 13 hours of continuous MOBA gameplay at full frame rates and 10 hours of shooting game sessions.

As for display tech, the phone introduces BOE X10 under-display luminous materials, which apparently reduce the power consumption by 10% – ideal for a gaming phone. It also supports 2,688 x 1,216 resolution and has a 144Hz refresh rate, making it one of the best phones for competitive gameplay out there.

The phone is available in China already, but we’re set to hear more about a global launch on November 3.
