SAVE $41.99: As of May 21, the Sony ULT Field 1 is back down to $88, down from $129.99, at Amazon in every color variety. That’s 32% in savings and matches its best price on record.

It didn’t take long for Sony’s ULT Field 1 speaker to join the ranks of our favorite Bluetooth speakers. Just a year old, we’re still singing the Mashable Choice Award winner’s praises — even more so now that it’s steadily on sale for less than $100.

As of May 21, the Sony ULT Field 1 is back on sale for its lowest price ever, just $88, in every color option. That’s 32% off its list price of $129.99 and only the third time it’s dropped down this low.

Mashable’s Miller Kern tested the speaker last year when it launched and gave it a glowing 4.5 out of 5 stars review, writing that she could see it becoming her new go-to outdoor speaker. It’s waterproof, dustproof, rustproof, and shockproof. Plus, this baby can get loud AF. “I can’t imagine ever playing music at full volume in my apartment. This speaker would be amazing for beach days or barbecues, though,” Kern writes in her review.

While the battery life could be better, it’s still satisfactory at 12 hours. Plus, its sound quality, customizable EQ levels, low-profile design, and bass-thumping ULT setting are so good it’s easy to overlook the so-so battery. As Kern put it, “The ULT Field 1 speaker is impressive, there’s no denying that.”

At full price, we called it a great bang for your buck. At only $88, it almost feels too good to be true.
