The highest percentage of AI in companies is given in Denmark (27.6%), Sweden (25.1%) and Belgium (24.7%). Among the countries with the lowest use of AI in their templates in 2024 are Bulgaria (6.5%), Poland (5.9%) and Romania (3.1%).
Despite these figures, all the countries of the European Union have registered an increase in companies that use AI compared to 2023. Sweden has been the country in which its use has increased the most from one year to another, with a 14 , 7 percentage points of increase, followed by Denmark (12.4 percentage points) and Belgium (10.9 percentage points). The most tight increases have occurred in Spain (2.1%), Romania (1.6%) and Portugal (0.8%).
In general, companies in the region continue to adopt various AI technologies, with the aim of improving their operations. Thus, the most widespread artificial intelligence technology in EU companies in 2024 has been the written language analysis. They have used 6.9% of companies, and their year -on -year use rose 4 points.
The second technology of AI most used in European companies was dedicated to the generation of spoken or written language. That is to say, Natural language generation technology. It was used by 5.4% of companies, 3.3 percentage points more than in 2023. In third place, finally, there are the language conversion technologies spoken in formats that a machine can recognize. For example, in text, which would encompass voice recognition technologies in this section. It was used by 4.8% of companies, 2.2 percentage points more than in 2023.
