The WLAN market for companies grew by 13.2% in the second quarter of 2025

He Wireless Local Being Market (WLAN) for companies grew by 13.2% year -on -year In the second quarter of 2025, until reaching 2.6 billion dollars. This growth is based on that of the sector during the previous quarter, according to the results obtained by the IDC consultant.

Among the main drivers of the WLAN network market is the adoption of the new WiFi standards. Companies have set them and have risen their adoption due to their advantages. WIFI 6E and WIFI 7 allow the bandwidth available for Wi -Fi networks to be multiplied by three in the 6 GHz band at certain points.

In the case of WiFi 7, it achieved 21.2% of the sector’s income in the dependent access points segment in the three months analyzed. It is a significant increase if compared to segment income in the previous quarter, when they totaled 11.8% of the total. As for WiFi 6E, their income in the quarter achieved 26.8% of the total segment.

In the American continent, the WLAN market for companies grew by 17% year -on -year in the quarter, driven by its growth in the United States. In that country, it registered an increase of 18.4%. In the EMEA region, on the other hand, the market improved 14.7%. As for Asia-Pacific, the registered growth was remarkably lower: 4.6%, with market revenues in China even lowering 6.6% year-on-year.

By manufacturers, the results achieved in WLAN for companies by Cisco, whose income grows 8% year -on -year in the second quarter of 2025 to 996.1 million dollars. This has caused the company to have 37.8% of the market share in the analyzed period.

HPE Aruba Networking revenues increased 9.3% between April and June 2025, until staying at 376.3 million dollars, with a market share of 14.3%. Those of the third provider in importance of the sector, Ubiquiti, improved more than remarkable, with a growth of 66.8% to 312.4 million dollars. This has given it a market share of 11.9%.

Meanwhile, WLAN networks for Huawei companies improved 5.4% to 235.9 million dollars and a market share of 9%, and Juniper Networks grew by 20.4% to 141.9 million dollars, which led to a quarterly market share of 5.4%. Of course, in this case we must bear in mind that last July HPE closed the purchase operation of Juniper Networks.

Brandon Butler, Senior Network Research Responsible for IDC companiesstressed that «The WLAN Business Network Market is charging impulse: from the first to the second quarter of 2025, the market grew by 15.1%, and the annualized growth of 13.2% in the second quarter of 2025 follows the year -on -year growth of 10.6% recorded in the anterior quarter. The investments of the companies in WLAN are promoted by new standards such as WiFi 7 and WiFi 6E, which extend the cases of WiFi use, and by the networks based on artificial intelligence, which enhance new and innovative management capacities«.
