Roll up, roll up; the Prime Day shopping days are here and it’ll be here not for just two days but four days. That’s almost a working week of feasting on the best deals that Amazon has to offer.
And as the TV & Audio editor at Trusted Reviews, I’ll be scouring the Prime Day event for the best TV deals as and when they happen.
Prime Day isn’t always the best time to buy new TVs from 2025 though. Considering most brands are still rolling out new models, LG and Samsung went on sale April/May; while Hisense, Sony, Panasonic are beginning to filter through to retailers, they’re unlikely to be part of the Prime Day TV deals.
But that does mean you can bag deals on 2024 TVs. We don’t know for sure yet which ones will be appearing over the next week, but here’s an idea of the models I’ll be hoping there will be discounts on.
LG C4 OLED

The most explosive C-series OLED. The model name makes for a good pun, but we did have the fortune to review the 65-inch C4 and awarded it five-stars, commenting on its bright HDR performance, excellent connectivity options, high-level gaming performance and the ease of use with its webOS platform.
Given the 65-inch is already down to £1299 ahead of Prime Day, my expectation is that this model and the smaller sizes might likely fall down to below £1000. If you’re in the market for a new OLED, you don’t always have to go for the most recent generation, especially with LG now offering the security of five-year updates with its TVs.
If it pops up, getting the C4 OLED might just be one of the best deals of Prime Day.
Samsung QLED TVs

I don’t expect any 2025 Samsung TVs to make an appearance during Prime Day, but some 2024 models might make it on the Prime Day list.
If I had to guess, it’s unlikely to be the OLED models. Those appear to have sold very well and aren’t widely available on Amazon. I don’t think the Neo QLED models will be there either, given Samsung will probably be putting the focus on its 2025 Neo QLED TVs.
What I do think will still be available is Samsung’s less expensive TVs, from the Q70 to its Crystal UHD series. Here is the area in Samsung’s TV line-up where I think you’ll be able to grab some decent discounts. They won’t have the same level of performance as the Neo QLED and OLED models, but you’re trading performance for value.
Small 32-inch TVs

I notied during the 2024 Black Friday sales event that there were alot more deals aon 32-inch sized TVs and smaller, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happened for Prime Day 2025.
There were deals for 32-inch TCL and RCA TVs and if I were a betting man, I’d those two brands would be back again. Id you’re looking for a small TV for the bedroom or a second room, this size would be perfect for that use, and if last year is any indication, they’ll be available for less than £130.
Philips The One TV

We’d expect A Philips TV to turn up as part of the Prime Day deals, and fingers-crossed the Philips The One will be on the Prime Day radar.
Philips’ TVs offer plenty of bang for the buck, inlcuding features such as 144Hz PC gaming, three-sided Ambilight, support for all HDR formats for the best picture quality from any source, as well as Dolby and DTS audio support. The interface is Titan OS, which provides access to your favourite apps.
The PUS8909/12 is the model to look for but it’s currently only available in 43- and 50-inch sizes. Stock is running low and if it’s part of the Prime Day sales, stock is likely to run out soon.
